The starting point

Project audit — know what your film will cost, before you commit

A complete deliverable that scopes, costs and schedules your CGI project. Delivered within days, deducted in full if you entrust us with the production.

Why start here

A poorly scoped CGI project always costs more than a well-scoped one.

In CGI productions, the final bill rarely exceeds the quote because of the quote itself. It exceeds it because of what wasn't anticipated: one creative round-trip too many, a technical constraint discovered along the way, a misunderstanding about what was supposed to be delivered.

The audit exists for exactly that. It turns an intention into a precise document that you and your vendors can commit to.

The level of detail expected

An audit is judged by its ability to drill down to the detail that changes the quote.

The same standard as a macro render : every reflection, every material matters. A vague scope upfront always costs you in change orders; a precise scope shows from the very first line of the quote.

What the deliverable contains

The brief restated

A restatement of your request based on what you've shared with us. It's the first point of agreement: if we've understood each other, everything else holds.

The creative and production intention note

Reference images and videos, technical choices illustrated, the art direction envisioned. You see what the film will look like before it exists.

The production schedule

The production stages, sign-off points and client feedback windows. Everyone knows when they need to step in, and how much time they have.

The detailed quote

Every line is justified by the rest of the deliverable. You don't just receive a figure: you receive the reasoning that leads to it.

How it works

01

You send us your project

A written brief, references, an envisaged budget — even incomplete. We start from what you have.

02

We work for 2 days to a week

The timeline depends on the project's complexity. We tell you upfront.

03

You receive the deliverable

As a PDF, and in an online version that lets you embed reference videos directly — often more telling than a screenshot.

04

We talk it through

A conversation after delivery, at your convenience, for your questions and any adjustments.

A conversation after delivery

If the production is entrusted to us, the audit fee is deducted in full from the quote announced in the deliverable.

What we hear a lot

"It's an extra cost."

It's a lower cost if the production follows, since it's deducted in full. And if it doesn't, you keep a document that will serve you with any vendor.

"I can just ask for quotes directly."

You can, and you should. But comparing three quotes assumes all three answer the same question. The audit writes that question once and for all.

We work primarily with companies for whom image production isn't the core business — those who'd rather delegate the pilotage than learn it along the way.
