Kellogg's Trésor Choco Roulette — turning a brief into a win
Context & challenge
For the launch of Trésor Choco Roulette — a mix of four flavours in a single box — Kellogg's needed to convey an unusual product concept in a few seconds: the roulette, the chance element, the variety. The project came through a competitive pitch against several agencies.
Challenge identified
- Visually translate a game mechanic in a very short time.
- Stand out at the pitch stage, against other competitors.
- Deliver on the promise made during the pitch, once the project was awarded.
Approach & executive role
IKI Productions was involved from the pitch stage :
- built a complete pitch proposal — brief restated, creative intention, production note, schedule and budget estimate;
- selected and mobilised the 3D team suited to the project;
- supervised production through to delivery of the masters;
- managed broadcast deadlines, constrained by the product launch date.
Solution delivered
- A television spot produced entirely in CGI.
- A staging of the roulette mechanism that made the product concept instantly clear.
- A 3D packshot true to the launch packaging.
Results
The pitch won, then the promise kept.
The rigour of the pitch proposal won the competitive review. The production phase confirmed the commitments made: the spot was delivered within the deadline set by the launch schedule, at the finish level expected by the brand.
